River/Stream: Hooch from Settles Fish Weir down
Summary:
Report: Met my buddy Luke at Abbotts Br. and headed up to the fish weir below Settles.  Water was stained due to flow from Suwanee Creek and slightly stained even above it.

I was fishing a dry/dropper using a stimulator and a zug bug and Luke was fishing a bugger with a prince dropper.  We did very well almost every place we fished.

Met Rick Lubrant (inventor of the fly formerly known as prince) and Fox 5 reporter George Franco at the weir.  Rick was really slaying them with another of his own creations that he gave to Luke (can't recall what it was called).

The slight stain on the upper river made fishing really good, possibly one of the best days I have ever had.  Nothing gigantic but 3 browns about 14" 2 of which hit the dry fly and countless (> 30) other fish mostly browns.

Big float tube hatch from Rogers Bridge to Abbotts on the way back, but some serious eye candy as well.
