Browns and rainbows; I caught 7, biggest rainbow 21 in. Most took small dropper (prince, pheasant, etc) behind attractor fly of various kinds. They said it was their best day ever at fly fishing! John Rice and Andy were guides and my buddies were very impressed with the guiding and results. All hooked 2 or 3 x the fish landed. All caught on 5 wt rods and 3x tippet though heavier rods would have been ok, too. I lost several monsters that got off under rock ledges, etc. Great day! |
